Auxiliary Sensor Mount Kits

This mount kit list includes our most commonly used kits for mounting auxiliary sensors to Sea-Bird instruments (for example, mounting a transmissometer to an SBE 9plus CTD). The actual mount kit required is dependent on the CTD as well as the combination of auxiliary sensors used with it. To ensure that you are purchasing the correct kit, consult Sea-Bird with your instrument's serial number and information about your instrument configuration before placing an order. (Click here to see an example of where to find the serial number on your instrument).

Note: When ordering kits for mounting an instrument on SBE 32 Carousel Water Sampler frame, note that SBE 32 comes in 2 frame sizes:

  • Small Frame (1-inch diameter) for full size SBE 32 12-place (through 12-liter bottle size) and 24-place (through 2.5-liter bottle size), and all sizes of compact SBE 32C and sub-compact SBE 32SC.
  • Large Frame (1.375-inch diameter) for full size SBE 32 12-place (larger than 12-liter bottle size) and 24-place (larger than 2.5-liter bottle size).
