Sea-Bird University
Sea-Bird University is a free, virtual training taught live by our experts. Training consists of comprehensive operator training on major Sea-Bird Scientific products and software, and is hands-on in nature. The curriculum covers CTDs and commonly used sensors, theory and operation, data processing, and maintenance and repair.
Each Sea-Bird University session is approximately 60 minutes long, featuring a presentation and demonstration, followed by a live Q&A session.

Join us to learn about advanced data processing when profiling with the Sea-Bird Scientific tech support team. We will discuss the removal of the fairly gross effects of ship heave and talk about bin averaging your final data. When we finish this module you should be able to remove data artifacts caused by ship heave and bin average to reduce your data set, producing data at even pressure or depth values for the 911plus, 19plusV2, and SBE 25plus.
