Fluorometers

Fluorometers
Sea-Bird Scientific offers a wide variety of fluorometer configurations and measurement capabilities. ECO fluorometers are available in single, dual, and three-measurement combinations. Fluorometers measure chlorophyll-a, FDOM, rhodamine, phycocyanin, and phycoerythrin.

WETStar is a low cost, low power fluorometer that uses an optical flow tube so that it can be used in flow-through or pumped applications. With either digital or analog output, it can be used alongside CTD packages.

The ECO line of fluorometers is available as a single-channel or three-channel sensor with high resolution and 14-bit digital processing. ECOs are sturdy, provide long-term stability, and are available with active anti-fouling technology. A full ocean depth model is also available.

Based on the ECO sensor technology, the SeaOWL UV-A™ is an industry-leading oil-in-water sensor. The dynamic gain provides excellent sensitivity across a large detection range, making saturation unlikely in even the most heavily impacted environments. Its chlorophyll-a fluorescence and backscattering measurements allow the SeaOWL UV-A™ to discriminate crude oil from phytoplankton and other natural sources of FDOM.

ECO Fluorometers

ECO FL fluorometers measure fluorescence from chlorophyll-a, FDOM, uranine, rhodamine, and phycocyanin and phycoerythrin.
